This project is of me holding up a peace sign. I created this by making grids to help me make sure everything is proportional. The techniques I used to create this portrait was shading to make the shadows and values in my face. The materials I used to create this were pencils, an eraser, and a ruler. The elements I used to create this portrait was value and highlight. The principles I used were contrasting dark and light and contrasting textures. I used contrasting dark and light to make the shadows and highlights. I also used contrasting textures because there are different texture in the portrait. I learned how to use value in the portrait and I also learned how to draw hands. I can incorporate this in future projects because I will know how to create hands and I will be able to create value better.

Whistle
Whistle
During the week I was making this whistle it was a few days before Thanksgiving. Since it was around Thanksgiving I decided to do a turkey. While painting the turkey I wanted it to look like a cartoon turkey. I painted it what I thought a cartoon turkey would look like. The thing I wish I did differently was to paint the eyes a different color and to do a better job on the tail feathers. The materials I made while creating this was clay, paper clips, water, and paint. The techniques I used to created the form and shape of the whistle was to smooth out any wrinkle or bumps. The principles I used while creating the whistle was using shape, form, and size contrast and use of color. The elements I used for the whistle was shape and form for the structure of the whistle. I learned how to create a whistle with clay. In future projects I will be able to know of the make a whistle.
Travel Poster
Travel Poster
For this project, I had to create a poster that represented a country we wanted to visit. I choose England to represent. I created this by having a double compliment color scheme.
I put rolling hills in the background where the white is suppose to be on the England flag. Then I put Big Ben and the London eye because those are places I would like to see when I visit England. I also put the shape of the country in blue to show what it looks like. The materials I used for this project were paint, paint brushes, a pencil, a color wheel, and a eraser. The techniques I used while creating this project was slow and even paint strokes so it would look neat. The principles I used for this project were the use of color and isolation. I used isolation for the shape of England because its by itself and it is blue and there is other colors around it. The elements I used were shape and form and different lines. I used shape and form for the rolling hills. While creating this project I learned how to use the color wheel and how to include different color schemes. By learning how to use the color wheel and how to use color schemes I will be able to include these skills to future projects.City Project
This art work is showing aliens attacking a city in two point perspective. I created this by drawing a horizon line then I identified the two vanishing points. I drew a vertical line next, then after that I drew to the vanishing point one and two. Then I cut off both sides with a vertical line. Finally I drew to the opposite VP from intersection. The materials I used to make this project was colored pencils, a ruler, a pencil, and a eraser. The techniques I used were shading lighter where the sunlight would hit it and shading darker where the shadow would be. The elements I used during this project were line, shape and form. I used these because I have horizontal and vertical lines in it. Also I used shape and form to create the buildings. The principles I used were balance, color contrast, and movement. I used movement in this project for the bombs moving towards the city. I learned how to use one and two point perspective during this project. I will use this by making things look 3D.
