Travel Poster

Travel Poster
For this project, I had to create a poster that represented a country we wanted to visit. I choose England to represent. I created this by having a double compliment color scheme.
I put rolling hills in the background where the white is suppose to be on the England flag. Then I put Big Ben and the London eye because those are places I would like to see when I visit England. I also put the shape of the country in blue to show what it looks like. The materials I used for this project were paint, paint brushes, a pencil, a color wheel, and a eraser. The techniques I used while creating this project was slow and even paint strokes so it would look neat. The principles I used for this project were the use of color and isolation. I used isolation for the shape of England because its by itself and it is blue and there is other colors around it. The elements I used were shape and form and different lines. I used shape and form for the rolling hills. While creating this project I learned how to use the color wheel and how to include different color schemes. By learning how to use the color wheel and how to use color schemes I will be able to include these skills to future projects.
