Contour Shoe Drawing

This drawing I made of my basketball shoes shows the detail and craftsmanship of the shoe. I created this by looking at the proportions of the shoe and by looking at the shoe instead of drawing what I thought I saw. To make this artwork I used soft and light lines to make the contour lines in the shoe. It defined outer edges of the shoe. The principles in this artwork are line contrast, unity in surface quality, there's also dominance with the Nike check mark. The elements in this artwork are the shape and form of the shoe and the lines on the shoe. The shoe also has edges from the contour lines. While making this project I learned how to create contour lines and the different types of lines that you can make like outlines, hatching, and the contour lines. Also ways lines can be implied like by edges, closure, and lines of sight. In future projects, I will know how to include contour lines.
